K. Srinivasan
K. Srinivasan studied at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Mylapore, Chennai; Ph.D. from the University of Madras under the guidance of Dr. N. Vizhinathan; disciple of Brahmasri V. R. Kalyanasundara Sastrigal and Brahmasri K. Balasubrahmanya Sastrigal. With over 35 years of experience as a Sanskrit lecturer, Srinivasan's publications include Tattvanusandhanam (edition and translation) (jointly with T V Vasudeva), the Stotras of Appayya Dikshita (editor), and a translation of Bhaktamara Darsan, a Jain text. He also served as one of the Assistant Editors for the Darsana section of the multi-volume Encyclopaedia of Hinduism. Presently he is holding Anna Subramania Iyer Chair for Vedas and Vedanta at Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute, Mylapore, Chennai
